Custom Logo Stencil Maker
Your brand, on any surface, in minutes. StencilForge's AI converts logos into perfectly bridged, cuttable stencils — ready for Cricut, laser cutters, or hand cutting. Spray your logo on walls, stamp it on packaging, paint it on products.
How It Works
Upload or describe your logo
Upload a PNG, SVG, or JPG of your logo. Or describe it to StencilForge's AI and we'll design a stencil-optimized version from scratch. The AI analyzes your logo's complexity and recommends adjustments.
AI adds bridges and optimizes
Enclosed shapes (like the centers of 'O', 'B', 'D') need bridges to stay connected. Our AI automatically places bridges at structurally optimal points while minimizing visual disruption to your logo.
Choose your output format
Download as SVG (for Cricut/Silhouette), DXF (for laser cutters), or high-resolution PNG (for hand cutting). Each format is optimized for its cutting method with appropriate line weights.
Cut and apply
Cut your stencil on your preferred material and machine. Apply to your surface with spray paint, brush paint, or etching cream. Your brand, on anything, in minutes.
Use Cases
Storefront & Window Signs
Paint your logo directly onto windows, walls, or sidewalks. Stenciled logos have an authentic, made-by-hand quality that printed vinyl can't replicate. Perfect for restaurants, boutiques, and coffee shops.
Product Packaging
Stencil logos onto kraft paper bags, wooden crates, or custom boxes. Eliminates the need for printed packaging — stamp or spray-paint your brand onto any material at the cost of paint.
Event & Trade Show Branding
Quick branding for booths, banners, and temporary signage. A stencil + can of spray paint brands any surface in seconds. Reusable for multiple events.
Construction & Industrial Marking
Site identification, equipment marking, and warehouse labeling. Industrial stencils withstand outdoor conditions and can be applied to concrete, metal, and wood with industrial paint.
Merch & Apparel
Screen-print prep or direct fabric painting. Create branded tote bags, t-shirts, and caps without minimum order quantities. Perfect for small-batch merchandise and limited editions.
Craft & DIY Projects
Woodworking, leather working, cake decorating, and home décor. Your logo on anything — cutting boards, leather goods, latte art, accent walls.
Tips for Better Logo Stencils
Simplify before stencilizing
Detailed logos with gradients, thin lines, or photographic elements don't work well as stencils. Simplify to bold shapes and clear outlines. If your logo doesn't look good in solid black, it won't make a good stencil.
Mind your minimum feature size
For hand cutting: minimum 3mm lines. For Cricut: minimum 1.5mm. For laser cutters: minimum 0.5mm. Features smaller than these will be impossible to cut cleanly or will break during use.
Font choice matters enormously
Sans-serif fonts (like Helvetica, Futura) stencil beautifully. Serif fonts need bridge modifications for letters like A, B, D, O, P, Q, R. Script fonts are extremely difficult — many connected letters create islands that fall out.
Test at actual size first
Print your stencil file on paper at 100% scale before cutting on expensive material. Verify that all details are visible, bridges are placed correctly, and the overall size works for your application.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a bridge in a logo stencil?
A bridge is a small connection between the outer stencil and an 'island' — an enclosed area that would fall out without support. Example: the center of the letter 'O' is an island. Without a bridge connecting it to the rest of the stencil, that center piece falls out and you get a solid circle instead of an 'O'. StencilForge's AI automatically places bridges.
Can I stencil any logo?
Most logos can be adapted, but some require simplification. Logos with fine gradients, thin hairline details, or complex photographic elements need to be reduced to solid shapes. StencilForge's AI can suggest simplifications that maintain brand recognition while being cuttable.
What size stencil can I make?
StencilForge generates vector files (SVG/DXF) that scale to any size without quality loss. From 1-inch product stamps to 6-foot wall murals — the vector output stays crisp at any dimension. The limiting factor is your cutting method, not the file.
How many times can I reuse a logo stencil?
Depends on material: Mylar stencils last 50-100+ uses. Vinyl stencils are typically single-use. Cardstock lasts 3-5 uses max. For high-volume applications (100+ uses), consider having a metal stencil laser-cut from thin aluminum or steel.
